It’s been twelve moons and our Clan has been peaceful, but just recently I’ve though “Have we done something wrong?” because only a couple of days ago Starclan or some mystical Clan has unleashed a heat wave of monstrous proportions upon our forest. It wipes out the prey an drives us out of our dens. The cats with the longest fur suffer the worst, but every cat has been hurt by it. Clans are starving and kits have died. It makes me wonder whether or not we’ll survive. Another thing is the prophecy our medicine cat received. I start to doubt that we’ll be here when this is over…

Chapter One It was a cold dark and dreary day, the gray sky flashed lightning above the town. A beautiful young girl named Amethyst was sitting in her room on the second floor of her cabin home in the woods. Her light tan skin glimmered a tiny bit in the light of her reading light as she read one of her favorite fantasy books. Her light blue-gray eyes slowly moved as she read each word and each line. A piece of long beautiful straight black hair fell in front of the left side of her face. Amethyst pulled her hair back a bit. When she finished her book for the fifteenth time in a row she soon closed the book shut and placed it at the corner of her desk which was facing an old castle in the forest that she lives in.
She soon stood up, as she did her long hair dropped down to her knees. Pushing her cherry oak wood chair in against her cherry oak wood desk matched her dark cherry oak wood room since that is what her cabin’s house is made of. The rain kept poring down. Amethyst soon looked out the window that was facing the old castle lightning flashed, and Amethyst thought she saw two figures standing next to it and they looked like they were talking but, when the flash ended they were gone. She soon started to become confused.
There was soon a knock on Amethyst’s door. She shook her head, ‘I must be dreaming again.’ She thought. She knew she had seen the same figures once before. Amethyst strode over to the door and she opened it up, “Dinner,” Blake Amethyst’s uncle said. All of Amethyst’s life her and her sister Burdette lived with their uncle and grew up with him. They never knew their parents. No one knew why the three of them had pointed ears. But, that didn’t bother them one bit not at all.
The rain continued to come down. Amethyst turned out her light as she walked out the door. The storm wasn’t letting up it kept getting worse. Burdette a young twelve year old girl an image of her sister since their both images of their mother. “Amethyst, are you alright sister?” Burdette asked her older sister. Amethyst looked at her sister and shook her head no, “I saw something in the forest but, I only saw them for a split second.” Amethyst said. “The elves?” Blake asked his nieces. The two girls looked over at their uncle, “Elves?” Amethyst and Burdette asked at the same time.
“Yes, elves.” Blake said. “They one lived in the castle that is behind our cabin.” Blake said. “Is there any way into it?” Amethyst asked. “Why?” her uncle asked her. “Well, during the storm….” Amethyst started to say hesitating, “I saw two figures outside of the castle during a flash of lightning and I was thinking maybe there is a link to it.” Amethyst said.
“Two figures you say?” Blake asked Amethyst. Amethyst nodded, “Yes, right outside of the castle they looked as if they were talking.” Amethyst said. “Then those two must be alive still.” Blake said to his niece. “A…A…Alive, but how, mom said that we were the last of the elves?” Amethyst said. “Then the lightning must have played tricks.” Blake said he looked out of the dining room window since it too has a perfect view of the castle, ‘Maybe, their in another world.’ Blake thought silently.
Night soon fell and Amethyst soon headed up the stairwell to that leads to the second floor to head to her room. Her mind full of confusion, full of wonder, and full of questions. She walked to the window that was in front of the old abandoned castle. Knowing that it was hard to see in the dark she just kept wondering, ‘What if it was just my imagination.’ Amethyst thought as she started to brush her long black hair. Her blue eyes were so much full of confusion.
As soon as nine rolled around Amethyst ended up rolling into bed. She had just gotten cozy when she started to hear her name calling her, “Amethyst.” The voice would call. Amethyst shot straight up in her bed and sat in it. She wondered what was going on, “Who’s there?” Amethyst called out. “Amethyst Come to me.” The voice sounded again. She soon started to be come a bit afraid of what was going on.
The voice soon disappeared as quickly as it said what it did. Amethyst wanted to find out who it was that was calling for her. She wanted to know if it was one of her family members playing a trick on her but; the voice didn’t sound like her family members voices. Amethyst soon lay back down in her bed and soon slowly drifted off to sleep.
As the world faded away as Amethyst slept. She found her self in the woods behind her house. Her long black hair flowed past her knees. She noticed she wasn’t dressed in her pj’s like she normally was in her dreams. But, instead she was wearing a beautiful white silvery long flowing dress where the skirt dropped to her ankles. The sleeves fell past her hands but not by much, “What the,” Amethyst asked her self. She had no clue what was going on. She also noticed that the trees didn’t look dark or black like they did when she was awake. They were full of color. With the brown tree trunks and a beautiful shade of green leaves. “I really must be dreaming.” Amethyst said.
A dark figure with a light tan skin, and the most gorgeous bright green eyes, dark blond hair, and very muscular was slowly walking towards her. Amethyst was intrigued by how handsome he looked. However he was dressed in black pants a long black shirt and black cloak. When he was closer to her he held out his hand for her to take it. Amethyst ended up taking his hand, “I am glad that you have finally come my dear.” The man said.
“Who are you?” Amethyst asked. But, before the man could say who he was. Another figure was walking towards them however; he was in a white silvery pair of pants and tank top. With long light blond hair and slightly pale skin almost matching hers. “JARED, LET GO OF HER HAND KNOW.” The man who was six foot tall same height as the other man. Jared ended up letting go of Amethyst’s hand. Amethyst looked at Jared then at the other. Jared soon turned to the right a bit to look at the other man who had just walked to them, “Ah, Elvin, it’s funny that you would have showed your self know.” Jared said. Amethyst noticed that the castle was in the same place as it was when she was awake looking out her window that pointed at it but, it didn’t look like it was in ruins.
Amethyst had no clue on what was going on. “GET AWAY FROM HER!” Elvin yelled at Jared. “Why should I do so?” Jared asked. “YOU d**n WELL KNOW WHY FOR THE MAIN REASON YOU WERE WANTING TO GET HERE TO THIS SPOT IN THE FIRST PLACE.” Elvin yelled. “What the hell is going on?” Amethyst asked.
Jared and Elvin stopped arguing with each other and looked at Amethyst. “He wants to use you.” Elvin said to her trying to tell her that Jared was not one of the good guys. Amethyst was definitely unsure of what was going on.
“Why would he be using me?” Amethyst asked Elvin. “Because, you are the key.” Elvin responded. “The key?” Amethyst asked.
“What key?” Amethyst asked again. “The key to taking over the Elven forest and destroying all of the elves.” Jared snared. Amethyst soon moved close to Elvin. Elvin put his arms around Amethyst. “Stay away from her.” Elvin said to Jared.
Jared soon disappeared into the blackness. Elvin put his hand gently against Amethyst’s right cheek. He soon looked into her beautiful light blue eyes, “Sleep well young Amethyst.” Elvin said he leaned in and touched his light peach colored lips against her rosy red ones. Amethyst saw the forest fade to how it looks like when she is awake.
Within minutes her alarm clock went off. Amethyst soon woke up she could still feel Elvin’s lips against hers. ‘That was so real.’ Amethyst thought to her self. Turning her alarm clock off she soon sat up in bed and stretched, “Girls time to get up.” Blake said to them. “I’M UP!!!” Amethyst hollered out of her room.
Burdette walked to her sisters room when she was dressed for school, “Sis, can you do me a favor?” she asked her. Amethyst looked over at her sister from her desk when she looked up from writing in her diary, “Depending on what it is sis?” Amethyst asked. Burdette walked to her sister, “Can I borrow one of your necklaces?” she asked. “Which one?” Amethyst asked her. Burdette walked to her sisters jewelry box and pulled out the silver necklace with the small butterfly charm on it and showed it to her, “This one?” she asked. Amethyst smiled, “I was wondering when you were going to ask me if you could borrow that one.” She said. “Really?” Her sister asked her.
Amethyst sat where she was at and smiled, “Come here sis,” she said. Burdette walked to her sister and sat on her lap, “Mother gave me that necklace when I was your age. But, I think you should have it.” Amethyst said. “Mother gave you this necklace? But it was her prized necklace as well as yours.” Burdette said. “I know, but, it’s time that you have it, so know, it’s yours to pass on.” Amethyst said. “I thought you wanted to give it to a child of your own. Amethyst laughed, “That was then, but, you’ve been eyeing it like a hawk lately.” She said. “So, it’s know yours.” Amethyst said to her sister and put the necklace on her.
It was still raining outside but, it wasn’t storming at least. After Amethyst and Burdette ate their breakfast. They soon headed out the door of the log cabin and started to walk down the old dirt path to the road to catch their bus. Their good friends Diamond and Coco soon walked over to them. “Hey,” Diamond and Coco said to Amethyst and Burdette. Amethyst and Burdette said hello back.
“Wow, you look like you had a bad dream.” Coco remarked to Amethyst since she was in a daze. “I did but, it was so real.” Amethyst said. “How real?” Diamond asked. “You two know how gray our woods looks like but, in my dream they were actually in color this time.” Amethyst said. “Green you mean?” Coco said. “Yes,” Amethyst said. Coco and Diamond looked at each other and laughed a bit. “I’m not lying.” She said.
“Am, I know you’re not lying.” Coco said to her best friend. “Are you sure?” Amethyst asked. “I am quite frankly sure; besides, a lot of us girls have seen those woods green in our dreams.” Coco said. “It’s like their trying to speak to us.” Diamond said. “You two had the same dream?” Amethyst asked. “Same dream my eye how did yours go.” Coco asked. Amethyst explained to them on what happened in her dream. Coco, Diamond and Burdette gasped, “But that didn’t happen in OUR dream.” The three said at the same time.
Their bus soon arrived at their bus stop but, it wasn’t the same old yellow bus, it was a very light tan school bus. The girls looked at each other then at the bus as it stopped in front of them and opened its doors. It didn’t look to be driven by anyone or so they thought but, wearily they slowly got in. They made Amethyst enter first when she was on she gasped she noticed that the bus was actually being driven, but, not only by a normal human but by an elf. Coco, Diamond and Burdette soon got on after and they noticed the same thing.
‘Ok, this is strange this is so not our school bus.’ Coco thought. Diamond had a different reaction, ‘Elves are real?’ she was thinking Burdette on the other hand, ‘Uncle Blake was right they ended up in another dimension.’ She thought. ‘Is this another one of Jared’s tricks?’Amethyst pondered.
“It is not a trick.” One of the elves who was sitting next to Amethyst since she had to sit with the elf since there was no other open seats for her friends and sister to sit near each other. Amethyst looked at the elf, “w…w…What do you mean it’s not a trick?” Amethyst asked. “I mean it’s real were to take you to the castle to help protect you from him.” The elf sitting in the same seat said to her.
Amethyst, Coco, Diamond and Burdette were all confused. ‘What did they mean by protect me from him? Did they mean to protect me from Jared?’ Amethyst thought. She thought back to her dream she had the night before where Elvin told Jared to get away from her. ‘What did he mean by that as well.’ Amethyst thought as the bus started to move again.
The bus kept moving on towards the castle. Burdette, Diamond, and Coco noticed how beautiful it is. “Wow.” The three said together. Amethyst however was still in a deep thought.

Amethyst-purple semi-precious stone. The amethyst stone was thought to prevent intoxication in ancient times. (Main character- based off of my real life self; she is related to Burdette and Blake)
Burdette- little bird (Main character- Amethyst’s sister in the story and Blake’s niece)

Not long ago, Elves and Demons once lived in harmony, but, all of that changed when the main original demon died of old age. Jared soon came to ruling the demons and constantly tried to take over the elven forest. However in the human world a young girl named Amethyst, is the key to taking over, but, she doesn’t know that she is. The king of the eleven forest, Jack decided to send Elvin to protect the girl but, secrets soon start to unfold.

Thunderclan Camp « Result #10 on Aug 23, 2008, 10:53pm »
A dark ginger she-cat soon started to wake up in the warriors den. She slowly opened her beautiful green eyes. She soon sat up straight once she had her eyes opened up. It was a beautiful new day in the Thunderclan camp. What could go wrong? Squirrelflight started to lick her self clean making sure her smooth fur was smoothed down and nothing was sticking up. She slowly streatched as well, then stood up and headed out to the fresh-kill pile to have something to eat.The queens in the nursery soon started stirring as well. The first queen to stir was a lovely stripped gray queen by the name of Milly. She soon slowly padded out of the nursery to bask in the sun for a bit. Finding a comfortable spot Milly started to lick her self clean.
Squirrelflight noticed Milly and gave her a curt nodd, "Wonderful morning isn't it?" Squirrelflight asked Milly. Milly soon stopped cleaning her self and looked at Squirrelflight, "Yes, it quite is." She replied. Squirrelflight looked at the fresh-kill pile then looked over at Milly, "Want me to bring you over a mouse or two?" She asked. Milly smiled, "I could do with a few mice." Milly responded.
Squirrelfight grabbed a couple of mice and padded over to Milly setting Milly's mouse down she soon plopped down next to Milly and started to eat her mouse. Milly soon started to eat hers as well.
